An international exhibition of technical innovations, patents and inventions - this is INVENT ARENA, where The Black Cube Centre for Digitalisation, Science and Innovation presented itself.
More than 5,000 visitors from the ranks of businesspeople, students, professionals and the public, as well as more than fifty exhibitors of innovations from all over the world - this was this year's international exhibition INVENT ARENA in Třinec, which also featured the presentation of the long-planned and expected construction of the scientific library The Black Cube.
"We presented details of the preparations for the Black Cube to the visitors. The greatest interest was in the online 3D visualizations, thanks to which they were able to see inside the entire building," said Romana Adámková, Strategic Development Officer.
The Black Cube will be a modern library with state-of-the-art database resources and publications, a space for study and work with a number of equipped study rooms and separate study areas, a 2D and 3D digitisation centre with a methodological and teaching centre, a place with modern educational tools and technologies, including robotics, programming, 3D printing and virtual reality.
One of the largest investment projects of the Moravian-Silesian Region is co-financed by the European Union under the Operational Programme Equitable Transformation, whose managing authority is the Ministry of the Environment.
